Aaron I. Bell
Chief Aaron I. Bell started his career in Law Enforcement in January 1993 with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office in Kaufman County, Texas near Dallas. During his tenure, he was assigned to the jail staff and worked his way through the ranks eventually earning a spot in the patrol division. While serving with the patrol division, he was on the SWAT Team and ultimately promoted to the rank of patrol sergeant.
In August 1998, Chief Bell began a 12-year tenure at the Manvel Police Department in Manvel, Texas. At Manvel PD, where among other things, he was instrumental in implementing a 24-hour patrol division, temporary jail holding facility, and the first 24-hour telecommunicator division for the city.
Chief Bell accepted the position of Manvel's first full-time Fire Marshal and Code Enforcement officer in February 2010. He served in that capacity until May 2014. While holding that position he was approached by the Chief Fire Marshal of one of the largest municipal Fire Marshal's Offices in South Texas, the Pasadena Fire Marshal's Office, and offered a position as the Assistant Chief Fire Marshal. Chief Bell accepted the offer and in February 2019, after a four and a half year tenure there, he chose to retire.
Chief Bell has started the next chapter in his law enforcement career servicing as the Iowa Colony Police Department's Chief of Police.
