Courtney Moerbe began her career in Law Enforcement as a dispatcher in 2009 with Bexar County, in San Antonio, Texas. Finding her calling on the other side of the radio, she completed the police academy and became a sworn deputy for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office in 2010. Serving the city through the Sheriff’s and Constable’s office, she gained experience in Patrol, Civil Service, and Warrants and served on traffic details as a motorcycle officer. Taking part in large-scale operations to end Human Trafficking and DWI accidents, Officer Moerbe comes to us with a high population, metropolitan level of experience that will benefit our ever-growing city.

Caring for the people she serves, Courtney holds mental health in the highest regards and chose to specialize in trauma response. Dedicating her education to the field, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2020.  She will soon finish her Master’s Degree in psychology which will license her as Clinical Mental Health Counselor.  

Courtney Moerbe started as a Patrol Officer with the Iowa Colony Police Department in June of 2022.
