Parks and Recreation Committee

The City of Iowa Colony’s Parks and Recreation committee plans, coordinates, and executes community events and oversees the general maintenance and welfare of city-owned parks through the Public Works Department.  The city council oversees this committee.  Events and park improvements are intended to enrich the lives of the residents and community members.  All meetings are public and subject to the Open Meetings Act and the Public Information Act.
