City to Host COVID-19 Test Site

The City of Iowa Colony, in conjunction with the Texas Division of Emergency Management, will host a free COVID-19 test site on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Alvin ISD's Freedom Field from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A VACCINATION SITE, THIS IS ONLY FOR COVID-19 TESTING. 

Testing is free of charge. The Texas Division of Emergency Management asks that you pre-register for testing at txcovidtest.org. This will speed up the testing process once you arrive. 

The preregistration link on the flyer becomes active 24-48 hours before the test site opens. If you would like to register earlier you can visit www.docshealthtesting.com and find the Iowa Colony test site. You can also text DOCSTX to 41411 to have the link sent to your mobile device.

This test site will utilize a saliva test instead of the nasal swab test. This should make for quicker and less painful testing.
